The Stables at Dunfield House offers fantastic self catering accommodation in Kington. Based in a lovely area of Herefordshire, we are ideal for family gatherings, celebrations and church groups.

Accommodation

Our wonderful property has been beautifully renovated to offer cosy accommodation. In total, there are 8 bedrooms, including 6 bunk beds, all perfect for a restful night’s sleep after a day sightseeing. On the ground level there are 2 shower/toilet rooms, whilst some rooms come with washbasins.

The lovely lounge offers a lovely space to wind in and enjoys glorious countryside views across the valley. A toasty wood burner will keep you warm in the winter months. Rustle up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances including a fridge and fridge freezer. The conservatory offers a dining/meeting space to use.

We are able to offer a self catering option with level access facilities to 3 bedrooms and communal rooms, suitable for wheelchair access. Full or part catered options are available.

You can enjoy the 15 acres of grounds, complete with lots of woodland and streams. Excellent facilities onsite include an indoor heated pool, tuck shop, covered outdoor classroom, games room, a labyrinth, trampoline and grassy areas for team games etc along with campfire sites.

Visiting Kington & Exploring Herefordshire

We are in a brilliant position for discovering all that the area has to offer, with an abundance of glorious footpaths right on our doorstep, leading to Bradnor Hill, Herrock [Leading to Offa’s Dyke Path], Hergest Ridge, Stanner Rocks, Kington Town, Knill & Old Radnor Church. You can visit the magical Owl Centre or learn about local life and legends at Kington Museum. Superb attractions to visit include:
