Spring Cottage is in a lovely part of North Yorkshire in Great Habton, a pretty village between Malton & Pickering. We are perfect for those who are looking to escape the pressures of modern life. After a day exploring the area and the North York Moors National Park, you can return to the cottage and enjoy a glass of wine in the garden, a soak in the roll-top bath, before nestling in front of the log burner with a good book.

Accommodation

Our property was originally an 18th Century farm workers cottage and it has been beautifully renovated throughout ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay is had by all. We aim to provide a place that feels like a home from home, whilst offering a luxurious feel throughout. It’s still full of original features, which give Spring Cottage its charm, but of course, it’s full of the modern-day comforts that you have in your own home too, such as Wi-Fi and a dishwasher.

Enjoy some home cooking in the fully equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances. We call the dining room the family room, offering a multi-functional space to suit all your needs. Unwind on the sofa, catch your favourite show on the TV, listen to a few tunes or have lots of fun on the Wii. The room enjoys delightful garden views.

We have a separate lounge, offering a great space to unwind after the kids have gone to bed. This charming, beamed room comes with a toasty wood burner for those chilly days.

Upstairs we have 2 bedrooms and a bathroom available. The master bedroom comes with a comfy king-size bed for a restful night’s sleep. The second room comes with a twin bed. Both rooms share a bathroom with a free-standing luxury bathtub and a shower cubicle.

Outside we have professionally landscaped circular lawns and a vegetable patch, plus a patio area, great for a glass of wine in the evening sun. At the end of the garden there are garden swings for children.

We are a fantastic base for those looking to explore the many wondrous sights in Yorkshire. There are a wealth of walks to enjoy in the surrounding area, taking you through some of the most breathtaking scenery in the country, as well as numerous attractions and places of interest, including:
