Accommodation
The Anchorage comfortably accommodates 6 to 7 guests across three bedrooms: a super king-size room (which can be converted to twins upon request), a double room and a twin room with an additional occasional bed.Bedroom 1: Features a zip-link super king-size bed (twin configuration available upon request), an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower over the bath, basin and WC.
Bedroom 2: Furnished with two single beds and an additional occasional bed.
Bedroom 3: Contains one double bed.
Shower Room: Includes a shower, basin and WC.
Lounge/Diner: Offers comfortable seating with a three-piece suite and two-seater sofa, a dining table and chairs, a 50-inch HD TV, DVD player and a log burner (fireguard available).
Kitchen: Equipped with an electric part induction range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, food steamer, and a baby bottle sterilizer for Tommy Tippee bottles.
Utility Room: Houses a washing machine and a Belfast sink.
Conservatory: A bright area with seating which opens out onto the garden.
Garden & Parking: The garden is enclosed, complete with outdoor furniture and a barbecue and there's ample parking on the driveway.
The Area
Located in a peaceful cul-de-sac, The Anchorage is conveniently close to Aberporth village's amenities, including shops, eateries, a pub, and more, all within walking distance. The village is serviced by bus routes to Cardigan and Aberystwyth, making it easy to explore without a car. Aberporth boasts two sandy beaches ideal for swimming, water sports and rock pooling, with one beach welcoming dogs throughout the year.The Ceredigion Coast Path offers scenic walks to nearby Tresaith and its beachside pub, as well as to the National Trust's Penbryn beach and the delightful village of Llangrannog. Keep an eye out for Cardigan Bay's famous bottlenose dolphins, often spotted from the shore or on boat trips from New Quay, which also offers a range of water sports.
The market town of Cardigan, just 7 miles away, features supermarkets, craft and food shops, pubs, cafés, galleries and a castle. For those willing to venture further, the Cambrian Mountains and the Pembrokeshire coast, including Tenby, offer captivating day trips.
