Customer Reviews:

Kat, Oct 2023. ‘’An amazing stay at the windmill. I have recommend the windmill to many people and friends and family since my return the best short break myself and my partner have ever had. The hosts were amazing lovely friendly couple. They helped to navigate us around the area nothing was to much trouble. The only downside was it wasn't long enough wished we had booked for longer. We will be returning for a longer period.’’

Jo, Oct 2023. ‘’Amazing weekend. We stayed here for our friends 60th birthday. There were six adults in our group. We had a fantastic time. The windmill is beautiful. Plenty of space for 6 adults. It's spotlessly clean. The owners were very welcoming. Aylsham is lovely, walking distance to the town and plenty to do. All in all a truly fantastic stay and I wouldn't hesitate to book again.’’

‘’A nice week away. Tim and Janet were on hand to welcome us after a mammoth journey. Even though they're only next door we didn't see sight nor sound - very unobtrusive. The windmill was very clean and in good condition. Everything we needed was there and we very much appreciated the milk, biscuits, cake and bubbles! A lovely 6 night stay - the windmill is highly recommended.//

‘’Excellent in all respects. Booked for a much needed weekend away my friends and I arrived to a warm welcome from Tim. The welcome also included a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge along with chocolates, fruit cake, tea and milk. The Windmill itself is beautifully fitted out and the towels and bedlinen were very comfortable. We had a great weekend enhanced by the fact that we had everything we could possibly need at the Windmill. We visited a few local places and had a really lovely meal at a local pub, The Black Boys in Aylsham. We will definitely return as it was lovely many thanks to Tim and Janet x’’

''One of the best places we have ever stayed! Helpful owners who responded quickly to my queries before booking. As for the property, it is stunning. A beautiful conversion, spotlessly clean and well maintained. The owners are friendly and welcoming, giving us tips on places to walk etc. They have thought of everything - providing lots of supplies so you don’t have to bring everything with you, which was a blessing for us as we could only stay 2 nights. Yea, coffee, first aid kit, sewing kit, tea towels, beach towels, dvds, board games, soap, shower gel. Plus a locally made cake, chocolate bars and a bag of little choccies as a welcome (and the Prosecco for my husband’s birthday was a lovely surprise!). We loved taking part in the competition where you have to find things which are dotted around all over the windmill - I won’t say much more so I don’t spoil the game for others but let’s just say, it’s not just a game for kids, we were all looking! We have already said we would love to return, it’s a great base for exploring Norfolk and has lots of nice places to visit locally too. Highly recommended.''
