Come and unwind at Old Newham Farm, a beautiful self catering property in the heart of the Cornish countryside. Tucked away down a quiet country lane, we are only 3 miles from some of the most dramatic coastline in the area. The sandy cove of Crackington Haven with its rock pools for your children to explore is less than 4 miles and Boscastle is just over 5 miles away.

Our holiday cottages have been created from stone and slate buildings dating back some 200 years or more and are grouped around the original farm yard. The farming activities have now moved out of the way although still close enough for you to feel involved.

Stables

This two storey cottage for 4 has an impressive granite fireplace in the living room, separate kitchen/dining room and upstairs two cottage style bedrooms, one double with four poster bed and the other a twin room, both with en suite bathrooms.

Nutmeg's

This split level cottage for 4 has a living room with a high-beamed ceiling, imposing chimney breast, open fire and galleried landing. Down a half flight of slate stairs at ground level is the kitchen and bathroom and the two bedrooms, one double and one twin, are up the other half flight.

Skyber

This charming cottage for 2 comes with a double bedroom and is all on one level with old stone external walls and mellowed pine internal walls and ceiling giving this cottage a cosy, warm feel, no matter what season.

We also breed eventing horses and keep other small livestock for children to get to know. Cycles are available as well.

Local Area

There are several beaches, for surfing, for building sand castles, for just relaxing, some secluded and remote, all within ½ hour's easy drive on our quiet roads. And of course there is the Coastal Path and other woodland and riverside walks in the area.

You can take a pleasant stroll around our 30 acre organic farm grazed by cattle and sheep alongside the River Ottery. You could see a buzzard or some other bird of prey. If you are very lucky, you may glimpse an otter or our resident kingfisher.
