Here, everything is designed with your family in mind, from hands-on animal feeding experiences to outstanding facilities that ensure a memorable holiday for everyone. At Birchill Farm, we want your stay to be as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Each of our lovingly restored farm cottages is thoughtfully designed to feel like a true home away from home, complete with everything you and your children need for a comfortable and relaxing getaway.

Accommodation

Birchill Farm Cottages have their own private gardens in addition to access to the extensive grounds. The farm is set within eight acres and has a woodland walk leading to a stream and a water meadow. Young children can enjoy a range of facilities, including our tractor play barn, fairy walk, bubbling stream, outdoor play areas and more. Children can also come along and join the animal feeding sessions and meet our chickens, ducks and goats.

All of our cottages have been carefully converted from original farm buildings, preserving many of their charming and distinctive features. The kitchens are fully equipped with everything you could possibly need.

The Granary - Sleeps 6 + cot

Our largest cottage is perfect for up to six people. The stunning property has a semi-circular lounge converted from the former roundhouse and French doors with open onto a garden area. The cottage comes with a well-equipped kitchen and a fully enclosed garden with a lawn and patio with garden furniture. There is a master bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bedroom, second bedroom with twin beds that can be zipped together to form a 6’ super king-size bed and a third bedroom with one full size single bed and one junior bed suitable for children up to the age of 5 can be added.

Bramble Cottage - Sleeps 4 + cot

The cottage comes with exposed beams, a private garden and charming cottage style living/kitchen area. The main bedroom comes with a king-size bed and the twin bedroom comes with single beds. There is space for a cot in the second bedroom.

Bryony Cottage - Sleeps 4 + cot

Bryony is a spacious, semi-detached, two-storey cottage featuring a private, fully enclosed south-facing garden that enjoys plenty of sunshine. There is a spacious master bedroom with king size bed and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has two single beds that can be zipped together to form a 6’ super king-size bed.

Elderberry Cottage - Sleeps 4 + cot

Elderberry is a detached, single-storey cottage complete with a wood-burning stove. It boasts a spacious private garden and access to a shared play area, offering plenty of room for your little ones to enjoy.The open plan living room comes with a well-equipped kitchen area. The dining table seats up to four people and a private patio area comes with a table and chairs. There are two bedrooms, a master bedroom with king size bed and a twin bedroom with single beds. There is space for a cot in either bedroom.

Hazel Cottage - Sleeps 4 + cot

Hazel is a detached, single-storey cottage featuring exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace with an electric wood-burning stove. It boasts a fully enclosed, sunny south-facing garden, complete with your own private hot tub for ultimate relaxation. There is a master bedroom with king size bed and a second bedroom with twin beds. A cot can be placed in either bedroom.

Willow Cottage - Sleeps 4 + cot

Willow is a detached, single-storey barn conversion featuring spacious rooms and high ceilings. It offers a private enclosed garden and access to a shared play area, providing plenty of space for your little ones to enjoy. There is a large bedroom with king size bed and a twin bedroom. The master bedroom can accommodate two cots or a toddler bed (suitable for children up to age 5). In the second bedroom, there is space for a cot if one of the single beds is not in use.

Oak Apple Cottage - Sleeps 4 + cot

Oak Apple is a charming, semi-detached two-storey cottage featuring exposed beams. It offers a private enclosed garden and access to a shared play area, providing plenty of space for your little ones to play and explore. Both of the bedrooms have exposed beams, the master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. There is space for a cot in the second bedroom.
