The charming towns of Pateley Bridge (6 miles) and Harrogate (9 miles) are easily accessible and, for the more active, there is tennis (3 miles), fishing (3 miles) and golf (9 miles) available close by.

The bustling city of Leeds and historic York are 35 minutes and 40 minutes respectively from Harrogate. The area has many fine restaurants and traditional pubs, the nearest within 2 miles.
