Willow Cabin is beautifully situated on the edge of Loch Venachar, framed by the towering peaks of the Scottish Highlands. Conveniently located an hour from both Edinburgh and Glasgow, this secluded retreat boasts a loch-side setting in ancient woodland on a private estate, offering a truly idyllic escape devoid of artificial light at night.

Perched at the property's east end, right beside the Dullater burn, Willow Cabin is a strikingly modern structure, clad in zinc and larch. It accommodates 8 guests with two king-size rooms and two bunk rooms. While the bedrooms are compact and cosy, the cabin's expansive open-plan living area more than compensates with its abundant natural light, comfort and stunning views. During winter, the loch's waves gently lap beneath the glass-fronted balcony, creating an almost aquatic living experience. The large living room includes a wood burner and a dining table extends to seat 12, alongside a fully equipped kitchen featuring a fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and four induction hobs.

The Area

The nearest town, Callander, is bustling with shops and restaurants, serving as both the gateway to the Highlands and an entry point to the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. This area is a veritable outdoor playground, offering a myriad of activities for adventure seekers. Local attractions include the scenic Bracklyne Falls and the historic paddle steamer SS Walter Scott. Canoe rental is available onsite.
