Harbour Cottage sits at the foot of Exmoor National Park overlooking the historic harbour in Minehead, offering a peaceful coastal escape in the heart of beautiful West Somerset. Dating back more than 300 years, the cottage retains much of its original character and charm while combining it with modern comforts to create a warm and welcoming place to stay.
Set across three floors, the cottage features a cosy living room with a traditional inglenook fireplace and a fully equipped adjoining kitchen on the ground floor. The upper levels are home to three comfortable double bedrooms, including one ensuite room, all enjoying views across the harbour. A spacious family bathroom includes both a bath and separate shower, along with laundry facilities for longer stays.
Outside, the cottage has a paved seating area at the front of the property where guests can relax and enjoy the harbour setting. Private parking for one car is included and a harbour permit is also provided should parking for a second vehicle be needed.
Minehead is a traditional seaside town located on the edge of Exmoor National Park and at the start of the South West Coast Path, making it perfect for coastal walks, countryside exploring and wildlife spotting. The town offers a long sandy beach, watersports, independent shops, cafés and traditional pubs, while the cottage enjoys a peaceful position along the quieter end of the seafront within easy walking distance of the centre. Nearby attractions include the West Somerset Railway, scenic walks up North Hill, the medieval village of Dunster and Dunster Castle, as well as Porlock Weir, Watchet, wildlife parks, Exmoor safaris and family attractions including Butlin’s resort.
