Accommodation

We have two charming properties to choose from, The Old Piggery and Running Hare Barn. Both are beautifully furnished and the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life, nestled in a scenic countryside setting.

The Old Piggery

Our cosy barn conversion sleeps up to 6 people, great for a family getaway. The ground-level barn has a relaxing open plan kitchen/dining area including an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave oven. A separate dining table with chairs is perfect for savouring home-cook meals around. Unwind in the sitting room that has comfy seating, a toasty wood burner and a large flat-screen TV/DVD/CD/home theatre.

In total, we have 3 bedrooms: 1 king-sized zip and link bed and an en suite bathroom including a large walk-in shower, 1 twin/king and 1 double room. A family bathroom comes with a rainfall shower over the bath.

Outside we have garden furniture and a gas BBQ for al fresco dining over a glass or two.

Running Hare Barn

We offer fabulous accommodation in our old threshing barn. The barn sleeps up to 10 and still maintains many original features whilst offering modern accommodation. A gorgeous open plan area includes a fully equipped oak-built kitchen with a Rangemaster electric range with a double oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven and full-size American-style fridge freezer. Enjoy some delicious meals around the wooden table which sits up to 16 people on two large oak church pews.

You can unwind in the open plan atrium that extends up through the building to the beamed roof to offer a light-filled space to enjoy. On the first floor, is a sitting room with a 65’’ curved screen smart TV/DVD player and home theatre system and you can also admire the glorious countryside views.

5 bedrooms are available: two ground floor king sized rooms, both have large en suite bathrooms with a double ended roll top bath and separate shower. On the first floor is a master bedroom with a super-king zip and link bed and en suite shower room, whilst the mezzanine floor has a king and a room with two small doubles (plus privacy curtains) and shared use of a family bathroom.

A lovely, enclosed garden to the front of the barn and a spacious paved area will suit all your needs. A table and chairs are great for al fresco dining and we also provide a BBQ.

Visiting East Ruston & Exploring Norfolk

Our two properties are a haven for outdoor lovers, with an abundance of gorgeous countryside walks to enjoy. Visit the lovely city of Norwich, home to a magnificent cathedral, shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. You can also take a brilliant tour around the Norman Castle Museum and Art Gallery. Superb attractions to visit include:

East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden.

Happisburgh Beach.
North Walsham & Dilham Canal.
