Menzies Steading offers luxurious self catering accommodation just 2 miles outside of Aberfeldy on Castle Menzies Farm. We are in a beautiful part of Perthshire and only 75 miles north of Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Accommodation

Our wonderful property offers everything you need for a special holiday in a wonderful setting. The property is spacious, fitted to the highest standards and comes with a range of fabulous features.

The living areas are open plan whilst still feeling like they all have their own private sections. The spaces offer modern luxury combined with original stone pillars and wooden beams to create stunning open layouts. On the west side is a large dining table seating 12. There is also a lounge area with a fitted media unit into the back of the building. Around both sides of the stand-alone fireplace, there are sofas and armchairs, ideal for unwinding with a good cup of coffee. A lounge area has a large 9-seater sofa surrounding the TV unit and bi-fold doors open onto a delightful courtyard.

On the east side is a striking kitchen with unique features, including a hidden pantry fitted with brand new equipment. A fantastic electric cooker and hob sit outside the kitchen with the double fridge/freezer and sink unit.

5 modern en suite bedrooms are available, 3 of which offer both bath and showers. Each bedroom is styled in an individual and quirky way, offering a superb space to sleep in. Bedrooms include 3 super king rooms which can be made as twins, a further super king room and a double room.

Outside there is a charming courtyard with outdoor sofas, a dining table with chairs and a gas BBQ. The ideal space for a spot of al fresco dining whilst the sun is shining.

Visiting Aberfeldy & Exploring Perthshire

Aberfeldy is situated in the heart of Scotland and a great base for exploring the local area. Edinburgh & Glasgow are both 1 1/2 hours away by car and in 1 hour you are into the Highlands. Lots of fantastic attractions area in the area, including Crannog of Loch Tay, Blair Castle, Castle Menzies, Dewars Whisky Distillery, Highland Adventure Safaris, The Birks Cinema, Swimming Pool & Gym plus much more.
