Surf Bay offers excellent self catering accommodation on the edge Appledore. Located near Bideford in Devon, our private south-facing terrace enjoys glorious views of the sea.

Surf Bay Lodge

Our luxurious lodge is beautifully designed and boasts a range of stunning facilities, include a wonderful outdoor hot tub/spa, private swimming pool and a contemporary wet room with a jacuzzi bath.

The ground level lodge has a well-equipped modern kitchen including a Tassimo coffee machine, dishwasher, electric hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, microwave, oven and grill and toaster. You unwind in the cosy lounge which includes a red leather luxurious sofa bed, Xbox games console with games, and flat-screen TV. All the bedroom comes with comfortable beds and the bathrooms are finished to a high quality.

Main House

Extra bedrooms are available in the Main House. These rooms are accessed from the pool terrace but have no access to the Main house. Bedroom 1 has twin beds or a super king bed and bedroom 2 has a king-size bed. Both bedrooms come with en suite facilities and have French doors which look over the pool.

The house comes with a spacious kitchen including a newly fitted oven and fridge freezer, as well as a breakfast seating area. An elegant dining room has an extendable table which seats up to 8 people. The large lounge has multi sofas and a new double sofa bed. You can enjoy stunning views of the sea through the windows and patio doors open onto the pool. Facilities include a large TV. In total the property has 3 king-size bedrooms, 1 single bedroom and 1 super king-size bedroom. A modern bathroom is also available.

Visiting Appledore & Exploring Devon

Appledore has beautiful cobbled streets lined with charming pastel-coloured houses. You can visit a range of independent shops selling antiques, trinkets, local crafts, art galleries, restaurants and friendly pubs. You can take a gentle stroll along the quay or visit nearby Gray Sands beach. Attractions further afield include:

North Devon Maritime Museum.
Saunton Sands.
