Dalendrien in Treslaig offers wonderful self catering accommodation in a stunning location. Nestled on its own peninsula on the shoreline of Loch Linnhe in Inverness-shire, we truly are an idyllic holiday destination. We are only 25 miles from Fort William and an excellent base for exploring a range of attractions in the local area.

Accommodation

Our charming property comes with 3 acres of grounds and offers spectacular views over Loch Linnhe to the mountains of Glencoe and Ben Nevis.

The property comes with deceptively spacious rooms and is tastefully furnished. The sitting room/conservatory comes with an open fire, satellite cable TV, Bluetooth radio and a DVD player. The conservatory leads to the decking and outside garden. A fully equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances: oven and hob, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining table seats up to 6 people.

Two double rooms and a twin bedroom are available. Both rooms share a bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower and WC. A second bathroom has a wetroom shower and a WC.

Outside there is a formal garden with seating. The ideal spot for a morning coffee whilst admiring the view. The large grass leading to the loch shore regularly has deer grazing into the evening. The rocky beach near the house is a lovely spot for a BBQ in the evening sun.

Visiting Treslaig & Exploring Inverness-shire

You can enjoy a range of attractions in the local area. The Jacobite Steam Train from Fort William to Mallaig goes over the Glenfinnan Viaduct which was seen in the Harry Potter films. You can also visit Neptune’s Staircase, Urquhart Castle and the Ardnamurchan Lighthouse. The area is great for loch and sea cruises, perfect for seeing an abundance of wildlife.
