Finechambers Chapel offers wonderful self catering accommodation in Juniper near Hexham. Lovingly converted from an old chapel in Northumberland, our property enjoys gorgeous countryside views.

Accommodation

Our unique property sleeps up to 6 people and comes with a range of facilities to suit all your needs. Dating from 1894, this former Methodist chapel is south facing and offers luxurious accommodation.

On the ground floor, there is an elegantly furnished open plan living area with high chapel ceilings, a flat-screen TV and a large wood burning stove. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances to suit all your needs. There is a twin bedroom and shower room with a walk-in glass shower enclosure.

Stairs from the living room lead to a spacious mezzanine floor with a 5-foot double bed. Off the mezzanine floor, there is a large twin bedroom. A family bathroom comes with a shower over the bath.

Outside the is a delightful enclosed garden with garden furniture. A lovely place for reading a good book or enjoying a coffee.

There are no extra charges. Electricity, coal, logs, all linen, bath towels and tea towels are included. Most essentials are provided, including washing up liquid, washing machine powder, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, kitchen roll and firelighters.

We can put a wooden ramp up to help with wheelchair access – please enquire for details.

Visiting Juniper & Exploring Northumberland

We are close to the quaint market town of Hexham, famous for Hexham Abbey. The town has a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. Lots of great days out are nearby, including Hadrian's Wall, Durham Cathedral and Beamish Open Air Museum. Historic houses to visit include Belsay Hall and Castle and Cragside. A range of excellent attractions are in the local area:
