Borthwood Cottages are a collection of self catering holiday cottages that are located on the beautiful Isle of Wight, outside of Sandown near Borthwood. Our cottages were once a milking parlour on a farm and have been rebuilt and refurbished to high standard.

About Borthwood Cottages

Elm, Oak, and Rose Cottages have been carefully designed to accommodate less abled guests and accompanied wheelchair users. These cottages have received a 4-star rating from VisitEngland.com and an M2 grading from the English Tourism Council. Although Laurel Cottage is not officially graded, it shares a similar design. Constructed with brick and slate roofs, the cottages are fully insulated and double-glazed. Most rooms face south, offering stunning views.

Rose, Oak, and Laurel Cottages can each accommodate up to 6 guests, while Elm Cottage can host up to 4 guests. Each cottage features full central heating, and the cost of all utilities, duvets, bed linen, and towels is included in the tariff. During peak season, Rose, Oak, and Elm are available from Saturday to Saturday, and Laurel from Friday to Friday. Outside of peak times, we offer more flexible booking options.

Visiting Borthwood & Exploring the Isle of Wight

Our cottages are an ideal base for exploring the Island and have been designed to provide a spacious family accommodation, incorporating disabled facilities. In the neighbouring fields you will meet Erick and his family (our pet Highland cows). They can often be seen helping us keep the grass down in the paddocks around the holiday cottages.

Rates: from £460 - £1155 per week depending on season.
Maximum of 6 people.
Children are welcome.
