The Dunes - Sleeps 4

The Dunes is a well-presented ground-floor apartment featuring an entrance hallway that separates a double bedroom with built-in storage and a compact box room with bunk beds. The bathroom includes a bath with an electric shower, a washbasin and a WC. The open-plan lounge/kitchen has wooden laminate flooring, an L-shaped sofa, Freesat TV, DVD player and a dining table with folding chairs. The kitchen, separated by a breakfast bar with stools, is fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine, air fryer and a De’Longhi capsule coffee maker. The living area offers sea views and opens to a south-facing garden with lawn, decking and seating, including picnic tables, perfect for enjoying sunsets over Porthtowan beach.

Anchor Point - Sleeps 6

Anchor Point features a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances, including an oven, ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, washing machine and tumble dryer, plus ample cooking equipment and crockery. The carpeted lounge has two sofas, an armchair, Freeview TV, a DVD player and patio doors leading to a rear garden. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms: one with a king-sized bed and a second sleeping up to four, with twin beds and bunk beds. The modern bathroom includes a bath with an electric shower, washbasin and WC. A second staircase leads to a converted loft master bedroom with a super king-size bed, en-suite shower room, Velux windows and stunning sea and cliff views. The property has gardens on three sides, with a rear lawn, garden furniture and an open outdoor heated shower. It also includes private parking and electricity in the rental.

Visiting the Area

At low tide, you can stroll from Porthtowan to the neighbouring Chapel Porth beach, both equally breathtaking. The vast stretch of sand is ideal for games like rounders or cricket, while a children’s play park at the top of the beach makes Porthtowan a favourite destination for families. The coastal footpath winds along the cliffs, offering spectacular sea views as it leads east toward St Agnes and west toward Portreath. On the shoreline, the popular Blue Bar provides a relaxed beachside café experience, perfect for enjoying a drink while watching the sunset. In the village centre, you'll find The Unicorn on the Beach, a fantastic bar and restaurant exuding beachy charm and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
