Summary

Heath Farm Cottages offers fantastic self catering accommodation in Plumpton Green, based on our small working, family-run farm. We are based near Lewes in a gorgeous countryside setting in East Sussex.

Accommodation

We have 3 cottages to choose from, Stable Cottage, Parlour Cottage and Rose Cottage. All the cottages have sun trap terraces with garden furniture and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun. Stables and Parlour Cottages have French doors that open to a shared terrace to relax on. Rose Cottage has doors from the bedroom and living room which open to a private terrace.

Each cottage is well-equipped and includes a 32’’ TV with Freeview, DVD player, touch lamps, a washing machine, hob, oven, grill, microwave, fridge, Wi-Fi and EV charging point.

Parlour Cottage

This cottage was originally the farm’s milking parlour and now sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms. The master en suite room has a double bed and a level entry shower room which can accommodate guests with wheelchairs. The twin en suite room has an extra wide bath. There is a well-equipped kitchen, living room and dining area.

Rose Cottage

Our former stable and workshop has been tastefully converted and sleeps up to 2 people in a twin room with an en suite bathroom including a king-size bath and a high-spec contemporary thermostatic shower. There is a cosy living space, dining area and well-equipped kitchen.

Stable Cottage

This cottage includes part of the old milking parlour and the stables. The cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms. The master room has a double bed and an en suite bathroom with a luxury king-size bath with a high-specification thermostatic shower. There is a twin room and a third bedroom with a single bed and an extra bed underneath. The entry-level shower room is suitable for wheelchair users. There is a living room and a well-equipped kitchen.

Visting Plumpton Green & East Sussex

We are based on the edge of the South Downs National Park and the perfect base for exploring the area. Only a short journey away is the Ashdown Forest and we are close to the historic towns and villages. Lots of National Trust and English Heritage houses are nearby. Attractions to visit include:

Drusillas Zoo.
Bluebell Steam Railway.
Sheffield Park Garden.
Bodiam Castle.
Wakehurst Place.
