Summary
This cottage overlooks the larger of Aberporth’s two sandy beaches, 100 metres away. The village pub, shops and a children's playground are all within a few minutes walk. The Ceredigion Coast Path runs very close to the front door.
Accommodation
There is a living room with wood burning stove, Wi-Fi, Hi-fi with Bluetooth facility and a TV, a conservatory that overlooks the beach, two bedrooms (a double and two singles, all with duck-down duvets), a kitchen equipped with ceramic hob, fan oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and filter coffee machine and a bathroom with a power shower over the bath. The cottage has optic fibre Broadband.There is a small, secluded terrace to the rear of the property and off-road parking for two cars. To the front of the cottage, there is an area of decking, a lawn, a brick-built barbeque and a trestle table. A gate at the bottom of the garden provides easy access to the beach.
Please note that we have a strict no-smoking policy inside the cottage and dogs allowed in the winter months, (October to March).
Visiting Aberporth & Exploring Ceredigion
Aberporth is a small village 5 miles north of Cardigan and the river Teifi. The village has a pub, small supermarket, chemist, hardware store, two cafes, a beach bar (summer only) and a fish and chip shop. The beaches are the main attraction for those with children but there are plenty of scenic walks in the area – the closest being from the cottage along the coastal path, to Tresaith - a mile north of Aberporth.Things to Do:
18 hole golf course with views over the Teifi estuary (6 miles).
Fishing either off the beach, the rocks (1/2 mile) or on the river Teifi - for which a licence is required (5 miles).
Building sandcastles, investigating rock pools etc.
Cardigan Sailing club welcomes visitors (7 miles).
Organised fishing trips, seal spotting, etc (8 miles).
Kayaking on the river Teifi (8 miles).
Dry ski slope near Llangrannog (12 miles).
Walking the West Wales Coastal Path (1 mile).
Children’s playground (in the village, opposite the chemist).
Mwyldan theatre and cinema (in Cardigan, 6 miles).

Rates: From £400 - £750 per week depending on the season. The price includes bed linen and towels, all utilities and some firewood in winter months.
