Inside The Barn

Our self catering barn has been lovingly decorated to offer you country cottage cosiness, with a luxury twist. Hunker down in the wintertime in front of the fire and in the summer throw open the French doors and get the barbeque going on the terrace.

There is an open plan kitchen and dining room which is an ideal space for all the family to gather and relax in. The cosy sitting room has a flat screen TV with Netflix, Blue-ray player, wood burning stove and comfortable sofas.

The ground floor twin bedroom has an en suite wet room that is suitable for people with limited mobility. Upstairs there is a king and a twin room. A family bathroom has a bath and a separate shower.

The Hayloft has a wooden decking area with a large table and chairs, and a BBQ.

We've also been awarded 5 Stars and a 5 Star Gold rating by Enjoy England, the official quality assessors of holiday accommodation in England.

Local Area

The Hayloft is situated on the historic Chislet Marshes which is a haven for birdwatchers with sightings of Egrets, Marsh Harriers and Swans. Chislet is a great base for walkers and cyclists, with public rights of way to many local villages with traditional pubs offering a welcome stop en route.

A little further afield, the world heritage city of Canterbury is 8 miles away, and the historic coastal towns of Whitstable, Margate, Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Deal, and the "cinque ports" of Dover and Sandwich are within easy driving distance.
