Southwood Lodge is a luxurious property on our boating lake in the idyllic East Yorkshire countryside. It features a bespoke, spacious open-plan living area surrounded by scenic views and wildlife and a hot tub to relax in after a day out exploring the area. Local beaches are just a 20-minute drive away, making it an ideal retreat for relaxation and exploration.

The lodge boasts a wraparound deck with a sumptuous hot tub and stunning views of the lake, providing the perfect space to unwind, socialise and connect with nature. The modern open-plan living area includes a fully fitted kitchen with a gas hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Patio doors open onto the decking, where you’ll find an outdoor eating space to enjoy meals while taking in the surroundings.

There are two luxury bedrooms, including a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe and patio doors leading to the decking. The second bedroom features twin beds and there is also a spacious family bathroom with a bath. The lodge comfortably accommodates up to four people.

For added convenience, this holiday home includes complimentary Wi-Fi, new appliances and a smart TV, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The site offers excellent facilities, including walking and cycling routes, fishing opportunities and Pasco’s Italian Restaurant for delicious dining.

The lodge provides parking for two vehicles and has its own designated fishing peg, allowing you to sit back at the side of the lake and take in the stunning views. Dogs are welcome, so your furry friends can enjoy the peaceful surroundings with you.

Guests can take advantage of scenic walks and cycle routes into the historic market town of Beverley, known for its quality shops, independent retailers and numerous pubs, cafés and restaurants. The East Coast is just eight miles away, with easy access to coastal destinations such as Hornsea, Bridlington, Filey, Flamborough Head, and Scarborough. The lodge is also well-connected for day trips to York, Pickering, Malton and other market towns in the region.
