Accommodation.

This fantastic family and pet friendly cottage is perfect for a tranquil break in a glorious location. The cottage boasts outstanding views of the Cleveland Hills and comes with everything you need for a relaxing stay in the country.

Inside the cottage there are lots of fabulous rustic features, including beautiful beams and arched windows. A lovely living area comes with a flat-screen TV and DVD, offering a brilliant space to unwind whilst admiring the views. Enjoy some home-cooking in the fully-equipped kitchen/dining area which has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, washer and dishwasher.

Two attractive bedrooms are available, a king en suite room with a twin en suite room. Both are perfect for a restful night’s sleep after a day exploring.

Outside there is a lawned garden and patio with furniture for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

We also have other self catering accommodation available in a neighbouring cottage, together they can sleep up to 8. Please enquire for details.

Visiting Bishop Auckland & Exploring Durham

While staying with us you can venture further afield and visit the cities of Durham, Newcastle and York and the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and East Coast, all easily accessible by car. A pub and shop is only 1 mile away from us. Low Barnes Nature Reserve offers amazing natural scenery to enjoy, whilst Durham is renowned for its famous castle and cathedral. You can also visit the brilliant range of country pubs and restaurants in the area. Further attractions to visit include:
