Our luxurious apartment enjoys a chic farmhouse style feel whilst offering a range of modern facilities.The living area has original oak panels which dates from the 1700s. The room comes with quality sofas, lush cushions, a large TV, DVD player, feature fireplace and octagonal oak table in front of the bay window. You can savour views of the river and woodlands. The bespoke handmade oak kitchen comes with a range of appliances to suit all your needs: Belfast sink, fully integrated appliances with a rangemaster cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. The breakfast table seats up to six people with a second larger table in the dining room. We provide a range of essentials such as salt & pepper, oil and a range of spices and we always make sure there's tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge ready for a cuppa on your arrival.
The master bedroom comes with a super king size bed, luxury quilts and views over the Abbey, river and grounds. The room comes with a feature fireplace, original exposed beams and a hair dryer. The twin room also boasts views of the river and grounds and the third bedroom comes with a handmade bespoke high double bed and full size singe bed. All the rooms share a bathroom with a WC, large double shower, corner bath and heated towel rail. A separate WC is also available.

Durham has a wealth of attractions to explore. Durham Cathedral has wonderful sights to explore, including the Galilee Chapel and the Norman Nave with its massive piers and columns. Durham Castle is UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to University College. The Museum of Archaeology boasts a sizable collection of medieval artefacts, many of them discovered in the old city centre during major archaeological digs in the late 20th century. Lots of attractions are nearby, including:Durham University Botanic Garden.
