Sea Cottage is located at the idyllic Auchenmalg, on the eastern coast of Luce Bay in an unspoilt region of Scotland. With a short two-minute walk to the shore, the cottage boasts extensive sea views.

The two bedrooms are well-appointed, with one double bedroom facing the bay and the other twin bedroom enjoying views of the sea and pastureland. The bathroom has been recently refurbished with a walk-in shower.

The sitting room is comfortably furnished with an open fireplace, sofa, and easy chairs. A 22” flat screen TV and DVD player are provided, and there is a dining area with a table and chairs. A selection of books and local information leaflets are also available.

The kitchen is fully modernised and equipped with an electric cooker, fridge-freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, and microwave.

The cottage has a well-kept, open grassy area with table and chairs for outdoor use, perfect for picnics or games. The property is fully fenced, and two cars can be parked safely off-road beside the cottage.

There are good general stores in Port William and Glenluce, while Stranraer and Newton Stewart have supermarkets.

Luce Bay, on the western edge of Dumfries and Galloway, is a Special Area of Conservation, boasting spectacular open views over land and sea. The cottage offers a comfortable base to explore Galloway's rich archaeological history, contemporary artistic and literary events, and quiet charms. Bird-watching, walking, swimming, painting, discovering castles and standing stones, or listening to eminent speakers or musicians are just some of the activities on offer. The sunsets over the Mull of Galloway opposite the cottage, and on a clear day, the Isle of Man and Ireland can be seen on the horizon.
