Summary

The Burrow in Chideock offers fabulous self catering accommodation. We are ideally placed for exploring Bridport, Lyme Regis, Charmouth, West Bay and a range of attractions in Dorset.

Accommodation

Our stone-built thatched cottage sleeps up to 5 people and is set over 3 floors.

Inside there is a lounge/diner with a 5-seater sofa and wall-mounted flat-screen TV. This a lovely space to unwind after a day sightseeing. There is also a reading area to relax in. A dining area seats 5. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with an electric oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.

Bedrooms consist of a king room and a double with open beams. The upstairs bathroom has a bath and hand shower. Downstairs there is a shower room.

The single room, which we call the ‘Nook’ is a spacious room with a single bed. As the Nook is in the loft space of the thatched roof, there is no window.

Outside we have a fenced garden, BBQ and seating for al fresco dining over a glass or two.

Visiting Chideock & Exploring Dorset

We are ideally placed for exploring the area, with walks right on our doorstep, including one straight to the top of Golden Cap, the highest point of the South West Coastal Path. Bridport is around 3 miles away and has lots of shops, pubs, restaurants, tea shops, a few small theatres and an arts centre. The village of Chideock has a local shop, two great pubs and is less than a mile’s walk from the stunning World Heritage Jurassic coastline. Further attractions to visit include:
