Moorview Cottage is a granite-built converted barn located in a tranquil hamlet at the foot of White Tor, on the picturesque western edge of Dartmoor. Open year-round, our holiday cottage offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. Guests are greeted with a traditional Devon cream tea, accompanied by cake or biscuits upon arrival.
This charming cottage offers a peaceful getaway, combining modern comforts with the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside.
The ground floor features three cosy bedrooms: one king-size bedroom, one double bedroom, and a single bedroom. Guests also have access to a convenient WC with a shower and a heated towel rail. Additional amenities on this floor include an iron, ironing board and essential cleaning equipment.
Upstairs, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen complete with a full-size electric cooker, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, slow cooker and cafetière. The dining area, furnished with a large farmhouse-style table that seats five, provides a perfect setting for family meals. Adjacent to the dining area is a spacious lounge with stunning countryside views, a Smart TV, DAB+FM/Internet radio with CD and wireless connectivity. The first floor also includes a bathroom with a WC, bath with shower over and a heated towel rail for added comfort.
Moorview Cottage is situated within the owner’s garden, with a dedicated outdoor space for guests. The private garden area includes a picnic table and bench seating, ideal for enjoying the fresh air. Please note that ball games are not permitted. Off-road parking is available for one family-sized car and an EV electric car charging point is provided at a cost of £25.00 per week or part thereof.
Whilst bicycles are not allowed inside the cottage, secure cycle storage is available upon request.

- Oil-fired central heating is provided, with the temperature controlled remotely.
- One well-behaved dog is welcome, with a charge of £20 per week or part thereof.
