Pink Heather has been attracting guests for almost a century, and with its elevated position, approached by a number of steps, offers spectacular views across Sterridge Valley. It's the perfect place to unwind in the most tranquil of locations in North Devon, surrounded by an abundance of flowers & wildlife, within walking distance to our local pubs, and ideally suited to take full advantage of everything North Devon has to offer.

Accommodation

Our two holiday cottages, Yukon and Bowen, are one bedroom, 4-star holiday cottages which are well-equipped and decorated to a high standard throughout. Each includes:

· Easy access to North Devon’s beautiful sandy beaches, stunning coastline, valley walks, as well as walking distance to our local pubs and well-stocked community shop.
· Spacious, open plan lounge / dining / kitchen area with delightful views of the valley.
· High speed Wi-Fi / Flat screen TV / Freesat / DVD / Radio / CD player.
· A south facing patio area, with garden furniture and a stunning view across the Sterridge Valley which catches the sun for most of the day.
· A good selection of DVDs, books, and games in each cottage, as well as lawn games for using in the enclosed paddock area.
· The kitchen in each cottage includes an electric cooker, fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle, cafetiere, a good supply of pots, pans and cutlery, iron and ironing board, ensuring your stay is comfortable.
· Fully fitted bedroom includes a double bed with duvet, hair dryer and radio alarm plus an electric blanket for those colder months of the year (dual controlled).
· Modern bathroom including a roomy shower cubicle.
· There is a separate swing-bench seating area by the babbling River Sterridge for your enjoyment, as well as a picnic table and charcoal BBQ available for use in the paddock.
· Off-road parking, bicycle / paddleboard storage area
· We are also dog friendly and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Our four-legged guests especially enjoy playing in our lovely, enclosed paddock, which leads down to the river.

Please note that the cottage is accessed via a number of steps – a real positive when it comes to the breath-taking valley views, however it also means that this accommodation is not suitable for anyone with relevant mobility issues. Please call us if unsure. We will be happy to help bring up any luggage if need be – please just ask. Also, please note that because of the river and ponds in the garden, we are unable to accept bookings with young children.
