Tollgate Cottage in Hele offers charming self catering accommodation. Based near Ilfracombe in Devon, we are perfect for a tranquil getaway.
Our cosy cottage sleeps up to 4 people, great for a family or group holiday. The cottage is tastefully furnished and comes with a range of facilities to suit all your needs.
The cottage comes with a fully-equipped kitchen for home-cooking. Unwind in the relaxing lounge after a day of sightseeing and stay toasty in front of the wood burner.
Bedrooms consist of a master bedroom with a double bed and a smaller bedroom with full-sized bunk beds. Both rooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Outside there is a small patio garden with garden furniture for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

You can also enjoy some wonderful baked treats at our tea room, with a different selection available every day.
While staying with us you can head to Hele Bay which boasts a part sand, part shingle beach. Discover the abundance of rock pools and discover the secret smugglers’ caves. You can visit the majestic Chambercombe Manor, a historic Manor House with beautiful grounds. Visit nearby Ilfracombe and stroll around the harbour or see the amazing exhibits on display at The Ilfracombe Aquarium. Further attractions to visit include:

Changeover day is a Saturday in both cottages and from 23rd July to 2nd September bookings of 7 nights only.
A complimentary cream tea from our award winning tearoom is included with bookings of a week or more.
Maximum of 4 people.
Children are welcome. Please note there are steep steps so not suitable for toddlers.
