Perfectly situated for a full holiday, a relaxing weekend or a leisurely midweek break, they make an ideal base to unwind and enjoy the charm of the countryside.
The property comprises four bedrooms 2 doubles upstairs, two twins downstairs. There is a shower room with w/c & basin upstairs with the main bathroom with bath, shower, WC and washbasin downstairs. The kitchen has cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The sitting /dining room is spacious with a wood burning stove, TV and DVD. The granary has oil fired central heating. Outside there is a patio area with BBQ. Adjoining the Granary is a two-acre field for guests to enjoy, providing plenty of space for outdoor games and activities.
The property opens into an entrance hall with access to a downstairs shower room featuring a spacious power shower, toilet and hand basin. From here, the kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and tumble dryer, along with a dining table and chairs. Off the kitchen, the sitting room offers a welcoming space with an electric-effect wood-burning stove, TV, DVD player and patio doors leading to a private outdoor area. Upstairs, the first floor has a double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom with bath, power shower, washbasin and toilet, making the property ideal for families or groups. Just across the farm track lies a two-acre meadow, perfect for family games and a safe, open space where children can play freely.
The property features a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and tumble dryer, along with a dining table and chairs. From here, a step leads down to a hallway where you’ll find a shower room with a spacious power shower, wash basin and toilet. The linhay benefits from oil-fired central heating, and off the hallway is a characterful sitting room with exposed roof timbers, a wood-burning stove, TV, DVD player and patio doors opening onto a private patio area. From the sitting room, there is access to two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Just across the farm track, guests can also enjoy use of a two-acre meadow, perfect for children to play and for family games, which is separate from the meadow belonging to The Granary.
All bed linen, towels and free Wi-Fi are included with all our cottages and coal and logs are available if needed.
In 2016, the old milking parlour at Pattard was transformed into a welcoming restaurant, crafted with the help of local artisans and using reclaimed materials to create a characterful dining space with an open-plan kitchen where guests can watch their meals being prepared. In July 2023, the restaurant entered an exciting new chapter under the direction of chef patron Daniel Lord and his partner, Toni Mctoal.
Hartland boasts three pubs which serve food and in addition the coast of Hartland Quay is 2.5 miles away. Hartland also has a variety of shops including, general store post office and fish & chip shop. Other local attractions include Hartland Abbey, the picturesque village of Clovelly, The Milky Way, Skern Lodge, The Big Sheep, Rosemoor Gardens, The Gnome Reserve and Dartington Crystal.
