Ash Tree Cottage offers self catering accommodation in Harington, Derbyshire. The holiday cottage is all on one level, the owners aimed to make the cottage accessible for everyone. We are a great base for exploring the Peak District and are within driving distance to the pretty town of Buxton.

Ash Tree has been renovated from the original pigsty and wash house into a two bedroomed beautiful holiday cottage with underfloor heating.

The kitchen is fitted to a high standard, with all appliances required for modern living, such as; a dishwasher, hob, fridge freezer, microwave and toaster.

The living room has comfortable seating, a flat screen TV with SKY Freeview and a DVD player. There is a spacious wet room off the living room with a toilet and heated towel rails.

There are two bedrooms in the holiday cottage, one bedroom has a double bed and offers an en suite wet room. The second bedroom is a twin room and offers two single beds.

Outside the holiday cottage there is plenty of room for two cars to park. There is a private and secluded garden and patio area that has a BBQ that guests are welcome to use.

Hartington is a pretty village which dat3es back to the Middle Ages. Lying on the River Dove, it is a great base from which to explore The Peak District, Derbyshire and Staffordshire. Its location makes it a popular base for all types of holidays.

This area of Derbyshire offers a range of attractions and activities such as:

Stately homes including Chatsworth House, Hardwick Hall and Sudbury Hall.

Alton Towers is one of the most popular theme parks in the UK and it is situated on the southern edge of the Peak District.

Gulliver's is also a popular theme park that is aimed more towards families. This offers entertainment for children between two and thirteen.

Go Ape is also nearby where you can enjoy tree tops adventures and use Segway's in the forest. This is a thrill seeking day out.
