Accommodation
Our wonderful cottage boasts amazing countryside views and is part of an 18th Century coach house that has been beautifully converted. The house maintains many original features whilst offering quality accommodation. The property adjoins the owner’s home.Downstairs there is a cosy living with a toasty wood burning stove, comfy seating, dining table and TV, offering a great place to unwind after a day sightseeing. Cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances: electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher etc. The utility room houses the freezer. Downstairs there is also a WC.
Upstairs there is a range of gorgeous bedrooms with lofty A-frame ceilings to create a tranquil atmosphere. A spacious master bedroom has a king bed and a sofa bed, plus a TV and DVD player. An opening glazed door with balustrading overlooks the garden and surrounding park land. Next to the bedroom is a bathroom with a shower over. A twin and further king room are also available. The latter is opposite a shower room.
Outside there is a large lawn and patio with garden furniture and BBQ for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.
Visiting Wootton & Exploring Derbyshire
We are in the ideal location for exploring the local area. You can discover the Peak District National Park and the Derbyshire Dales, whilst lots of brilliant pubs and restaurants are in the local area. The area has an abundance of gorgeous walking routes, whilst the National Trust properties of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are easily accessible. Superb attractions to visit include:Kedleston Hall.
