General Facilities

All lodges come with a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided to get you started and the shower rooms offer constant hot water for any-time use. We supply one bath towel and one hand towel per person, along with handmade soap in the lodges for you to take home. All beds are made with luxurious Egyptian cotton linen.

Each lodge also features a hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring or for enjoying an evening of stargazing. Guests can also book the sauna and wild plunge pool for an additional experience.

Visiting the Area

Situated on the edge of a Grouse Moor, you can step right outside your lodge and embark on a hike across the open moorland, where you'll encounter abundant wildlife. Mountain bikers will love being adjacent to the One Planet Adventure Mountain Bike Centre in Llandegla Forest, which also offers plenty of walking trails. The bike centre café is the perfect reward after an active day.

For fishing enthusiasts, there are two local fishing lakes, along with the nearby rivers Dee in Llangollen and Clwyd in Ruthin, known for their salmon and sea trout runs.

Whether you prefer a peaceful evening by the fire with a good book or the thrill of an outdoor adventure, Owl Lodge or The Dog House provides the ideal retreat for unwinding at the end of your day.
