Lodges

We have 7 charming lodges to choose from, all perfect for a magical countryside break. All the bespoke lodges are finished to a high stand and come with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Outside each lodge there is a decking area with seating for al fresco dining. An onsite laundry includes washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board and freezer.

They each sleep 2 in a king room and include an en suite bathroom with a large walk-in rainfall shower and freestanding bath. Luxurious Cole and Lewis hand and body wash, hand lotion, and shampoo are also provided.

A lovely open plan living/kitchen area will suit all your needs. The lounge area includes comfy seating, a smart TV and Wi-Fi. The well-equipped kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher.

Percy, The Shepherds Hut

We also offer quirky accommodation in our shepherds’ hut. This small but cosy hut comes with underfloor heating, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower room and even an electric stove. There is also a king room, smart TV, DVD player and outside area with seating and a fire pit.

Visiting Windermere & Exploring Cumbria

High Borrans Farm is well connected to the network of footpaths and bridlepaths which criss-cross the fells and valleys in the direction of Kentmere and Troutbeck. Sightseeing/shopping/restaurants are all available within the Windermere-Bowness and Ambleside areas, a very convenient drive from High Borrans Lodges. Great attractions to visit include:

Windermere Jetty Museum - Stories of boats and steam.
National Trust - Hill Top.
National Trust - Wray Castle.
Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway.
National Trust - Claife Viewing Station and Windermere West Shore.
