Helm Mount Lodge is perfectly situated for easy access to the M6, Cumbria and Yorkshire, making it an ideal retreat and touring base. Kirkby Lonsdale and the Yorkshire Dales are just 20 minutes to the east, while Windermere, Ambleside and the southern Lake District are within a 30-minute drive to the west. The lodge features three cottages that can accommodate a total of 18 guests. Additionally, there is a party room where your group can gather for dining or entertainment.
Spring Cottage features an en-suite master bedroom, a spacious second double bedroom and a third bedroom with twin beds, along with a separate family bathroom located near the bedrooms. Downstairs, you'll find an open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen, as well as a utility room equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and an additional toilet.
Autumn Cottage is a spacious four-bedroom, three-bathroom retreat, with two of the bedrooms featuring en-suite bathrooms. The cottage boasts a generous entrance hallway that leads to a kitchen-diner, comfortably accommodating up to eight guests. It also includes a large lounge and a cozy library. With a separate utility room and downstairs toilet, this cottage provides excellent accommodation for a large family.
The Old Piggery is a wheelchair-accessible, guest-friendly accommodation designed for those with mobility needs. It features an open-plan downstairs area with a kitchen, dining and lounge space. A spacious ground-floor double bedroom connects seamlessly to a well-appointed bathroom. Upstairs, there is an additional double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
The party room offers comfortable seating for larger groups, with a dining table set to accommodate 14 adults, while still leaving ample space for high chairs for younger guests. It features a large log burner, perfect for evenings by the fire and a slate-bed pool table for those looking to enjoy some friendly competition.
Each property has its own outdoor area to sit and the whole site is surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Lake District.
