The Bungalow is a well-equipped three bedroomed holiday cottage set in the magnificent scenery of the Naddle Valley. Our charming bungalow near Kewsick is the perfect base for exploring Cumbria’s magnificent scenery, including the stunning Lake District National Park.

The bungalow consists of a lounge, dining kitchen and bathroom with shower and toilet. Three bedrooms are available: two doubles & one twin. There is an open fire and electric fire in the lounge and electric heater in the kitchen. All the bedrooms have storage heaters.

Facilities include a TV, DVD, Hi-Fi, fridge/freezer, automatic washer/dryer, microwave, electric cooker, coffee maker, hair dryer and a pay phone.

Outside there is a large garden with garden furniture and a barbecue, and parking for three cars.

All fuel, electric, linen, (duvets and blankets) and towels are included in the rental. The bungalow has a natural spring water supply, which is tested annually.

Causeway Foot is an ideal base for touring the Lake District. It is within easy reach of all the lakes and fells. Keswick is only 2.5 mile away where you can enjoy a wide variety of activities and sports. These include guided walks and rambles, cycle and mountain bike hire, paragliding, windsurfing, balloon flights, fishing, golfing, tennis, boat hire and lake cruises. There is a leisure pool at Keswick and swimming pools at Penrith and Greystoke.

A variety of pubs and cafes offer plenty of choice for eating out. Museums, a theatre, cinema, historic houses, beautiful gardens and castles are also all within the surrounding area. Of course if you prefer you can simply take to the fells and enjoy what must be some of the most beautiful scenery in England.
