Murthwaite Lodges in Longsleddale offers self catering accommodation in a valley setting. Based near Kendal in a picturesque Cumbrian setting, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.
We have two lodges available that both boast stunning views of the countryside. Each lodge sleeps 4 people in one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, with all bed linen provided.
This lodge comes with an open plan lounge/dining area with a fireplace and coal effect fire, Sky TV and a DVD player. French doors open onto the decking area. The kitchen is well-equipped with a range of appliances: a cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. A full sized bathroom has a shower over bath.
Our second lodge has a fully-equipped kitchen for home cooking: cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Unwind in the relaxing open plan lounge/dining area that comes with a fireplace and coal effect fire, Sky TV and DVD player. The bathroom is full-sized and includes a walk-in shower.
This part of the country has lots of walking and cycling routes to enjoy, plus an abundance of Lakeland wildlife. Within just 6 miles is the bustling market town of Kendal, whilst the nearby National Trust property of Sizergh Castle offers a house and beautiful gardens to see.
