High Lane Farm Holiday Cottages offers delightful self catering accommodation on the outskirts of the small village of Newbiggin-on-Lune. Based near Kirkby Stephen, we are surrounded by gorgeous Cumbrian countryside, perfect for an idyllic getaway.

Accommodation

We have 3 wonderful cottages available, all converted from a Grade II Listed stone-built barn. They include a quirky upside-down living layout and boast superb countryside views. All the bedrooms are on the ground floor, along with the bathrooms. The kitchens are on the top floor and come with a range of excellent appliances including a gas hob and electric oven, microwave and fridge with icebox. A rectangular extendable table in the dining area seats up to 6 people. The lounge is on the top floor and comes with comfy seating.

Stable Cottage – Sleeps 5

This charming cottage is great for long stay holidays or short breaks and all the bedrooms are on the ground.

Old Byre Cottage – Sleeps 4

Our lovely cottage has 2 bedrooms on the ground floor: a double/single room and bedroom with bunk beds.

Hayloft Cottages – Sleeps 4

This beautiful ground level cottage sleeps 4 in 2 doubles or 4 singles.

Visiting Newbiggin-on-Lune & Exploring Cumbria

The area is a haven for countryside lovers. You can walk, cycle or ride out onto the open fells. Or alternatively, visit the local towns and villages and tourist attractions. We can accommodate horses if you wish to bring them, the bridal ways in the area are endless. The Lake District, Pennines and the Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach, making High Lane Farm an ideal location for your self catering holidays. Further attractions to visit include:
