Bleng Farm Cottages offers wonderful self catering accommodation an is part of the Bleng Farms business, a large family run, working mixed farm situated in its own secluded valley within the Lake District National Park adjacent to the village of Gosforth.

Bleng Barn

Bleng Barn has a large number of modern conveniences to make your stay more comfortable including a fridge freezer, washer dryer, a dishwasher and a fully equipped kitchen, full central heating and two bathrooms to help reduce the morning queue.

Our holiday home has its own secluded patio and barbeque area adjacent to a large orchard with a small running stream, an ideal area for relaxing in or for the children to play. Upstairs a three bedrooms and a bathroom provide a selection of accommodation combinations, see the accommodation section for full details.

A large field in front of the house can be used for playing games with the prior permission of the farmer as it is sometimes used for livestock. The cottage has a garden with outdoor furniture and BBQ facilities with lovely views of the local area and the odd visit from a friendly deer or two.

Bleng Garth

Our charming cottage comes with a hot tub and is in its own grounds. The property sleeps up to 6 people in two king-sized bedrooms and one twin room. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a spacious sitting room overlooking the River Bleng. Facilities include a log burning stove and Free Sat. A large utility room and games room is also available.

Local Area

Nearby Gosforth is well equipped with shops, including a post office, bank and mountaineering shop amongst others. Although only a small village Gosforth boasts 6 public houses which provide food and drink all year round, so there is one to suit tastes from young to old.
