The Moorings offer delightful self catering accommodation in the hamlet of Port Gaverne, close to the fishing village of Port Isaac in Cornwall. We are around one hundred yards from the beach in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offer glorious views.
Accommodation
Our cottage can sleep up to six people and comes with a range of facilities.Unwind in the large lounge that comes with comfortable seating, a log fire, TV and a DVD player. The kitchen/dining room is well equipped with a Rayburn oven, conventional electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. A utility room houses a Butler sink, washing machine and tumble dryer,
In total, there are 3 large twin bedrooms. One of the bedrooms offers an en suite bathroom and there is also a shower room with WC and a downstairs WC.
Outside we have a terraced garden with garden furniture and a BBQ, providing the perfect place to relax after a busy day.
Visiting Port Gaverne & Exploring Cornwall
We are in a great position for enjoying the wealth of footpaths in the area, great for countryside or coastal walks. Half a mile from us is the old fishing village of Port Isaac, home to restaurants, shops and public houses. The beaches at Polzeath and Daymer Bay are both great for surfing. Attractions to visit include:The Minack Theatre.
