The Glenshesk School House dates back to 1834 and was originally an old school house in Glenshesk near Ballycastle, Co Antrim. The old school house has been completely refurbished to offer self catering holiday accommodation for 4 people and has wonderful panoramic views of Knocklayde. Our cottage is situated near to several locations where The Game of Thrones have been filmed!
The house sleeps 4-6 people in 2 bedrooms - 1 double bedroom and 1 twin room.

All bed linen is supplied and beds are made up ready for your arrival. There is also plenty of area outside to play in which is ideal for children or as a place to sit back and relax at the end of a busy day.
The holiday home also has wheel chair access, level deck shower, garden, garden furniture, barbecue, games room and a welcome pack service.
Within 10km of the holiday cottage you will reach shops, pubs, restaurant, café, playground, fishing, golfing, tennis, sandy beach, mountain, forest park and several National Trust properties including Fair Head & Murlough Bay. Booking is required when visiting national trust properties nearby due to gov guidelines.
Ideal for activities in the area like hill walking, pony trekking, walking throughout the Nine Glens and the North Antrim coast.
There is also a fantastic 18 golf course just 4 miles from the house and for the younger generation there is a fun pool and play park, along with a beautiful sandy beach to explore and enjoy.
