Once a historic estate, Waunifor offers 6 self-catering holiday cottages. All the cottages are full of character, have unique features and are set in 4 acres of magical gardens and grounds including a duckpond, woodland copse and lawned areas. Close to the small town of Llandysul and on the borders of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion we are just 25 minutes from the blue star beaches of Cardigan Bay and within easy reach of many attractions and outdoor activity centres.
On site we also have a large modern meeting hall and a separate large dining facility with kitchen. These can also be hired together or separately to allow large groups to meet and eat together, please contact us for details.
Our 6 traditional stone and slate cottages sleep from 2-10 people, giving accommodation for 36 in total so are ideal for large families and groups. We accept well behaved dogs for a small supplementary charge.
All our accommodation is well appointed and most cottages have an open fire or wood-burner. The Longhouse has an enclosed garden and the other cottages have courtyards or shared gardens.
Elegant and light mews style cottage apartment on an upper floor with 5 bedrooms sleeping up to 8 people (1 double, 2 twins and 2 singles). Coach House has 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen diner and cosy lounge with open fire.
Duckpond is a pleasant and comfortable cottage for two with one double bedroom, a bathroom with bath and shower and an open plan lounge/kitchen. There is a sofa bed in the lounge that can accommodate an extra person. Situated close to the Duckpond and sharing a garden with Robin Cottage.
Robin Cottage is a single storey cottage with a pleasant and cosy ambience that can accommodate up to four people. There are 3 bedrooms - 1 double bedroom and 2 singles, a shower room and a cosy lounge with kitchen and French windows opening onto the garden.
Stable Holiday Cottage is a homely character cottage sleeping six people. There is a large lounge with woodburning stove, kitchen with dining area and there are three twin-bedded rooms, a shower cubicle downstairs and an upstairs bathroom.
A lovely cottage blending traditional features with contemporary style accommodation. Large open plan lounge/kitchen with woodburning stove. Huge south facing feature window. Three large bedrooms one with double bed and two with 2 twin beds and a separate toilet and bathroom.
The Long House is a stunning listed building soaked in history and character and was a key part of the historical Waunifor estate. It is spacious and can sleep up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms and features a huge inglenook fireplace, wood-burning stove, oak beams and panelled dining area and has 2 bathrooms plus a small kitchen and enclosed garden.
As well as fishing, walking, climbing, kayaking, bike riding and other outdoor activities there is a rich variety of local attractions both indoor and outdoor for the whole family to enjoy around the area.
