Wisdomhowe offers self catering accommodation close to the village of Dinnet. This holiday cottage is at the heart of the Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve and the Cairngorms National Park, perfect for a tranquil holiday in Aberdeenshire. We are also close to Aboyne and a range of attractions in the area.

Wisdomhowe is a traditional self catering cottage, surrounded by a birch and pine woodland. The cottage is tastefully furnished and comes with a range of facilities to suit all your needs.

There is one double bedroom with an en suite shower room located on the ground floor and two twin bedrooms located on the first floor. As well as the en suite there is also another bathroom of the first floor.

There is a large modern kitchen that offers everything you will need during your self catering break including the following:

Dining table.

The living room has two comfortable sofas, a TV and a cosy open fire. A great spot for relaxing in after a day in the countryside.

There is a safe and enclosed garden at the holiday cottage that is perfect for children and for a dog.

The local area has a range of attractions that are suitable for all ages including hill walking, fishing, gliding, golfing and pony trekking. There are also a range of castles and heritage trails also in the area that are worth exploring during your self catering holiday. The holiday cottage is located around forty miles from Aberdeen where there are a range of shops, restaurants and pubs. Attractions to visit include:

Birsemore Loch.
Tomnaverie Stone Circle.
Glen Tanar National Nature Reserve.
Balmoral Castle.
