Willowbank Lodges is situated in a small hamlet in the heart of the Pewsey Vale bordering the Kennet and Avon canal. The five luxury log cabins have been solidly built from Russian redwood and are situated in three and a half acres, including a private lake and two large ponds, the site is surrounded by beautiful countryside and hosts a wide variety of wildlife.
There are three detached, two-bedroom cabins and two semi-detached, one-bedroom cabins. All are:
Individually and tastefully furnished to a very high standard with large, comfortable beds, duvets, 2 pillows per person, cotton bed linen, extra-large towels, spacious bathrooms, large, airy living rooms with comfortable contemporary sofas and chairs and fully equipped, hand painted kitchens. Modern thermostatically controlled electric wall heaters in all bedrooms and living rooms.
The one bedroom cabins have a super king or twin beds with a spacious en-suite bathroom which has a large bath with shower over, WC and handbasin with airing cupboard and storage cupboard. Iron and ironing board.
The two bedroom cabins also have the choice of super king or twin beds in both bedrooms. Master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with WC, handbasin and bath with shower over and second bathroom with walk-in shower, WC and handbasin. Heated towel rail in every bathroom.
Bullrush's shower room is suitable for wheelchair users. Please enquire for more detail.
The kitchens have a full range of units, double oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, liquidizer, hand mixer, plenty of utensils and cooking equipment.
The living areas are spacious with rugs, lamps, pictures, bookcases, side and coffee tables and the larger cabins have kitchen dressers. They all have flat-screen Freesat TV's with DVD players.
The two bedroom lodges: Bullrush, Dragonfly and Kingfisher have disabled access (ramps) leading into a utility room with a washer-drier, sink and large airing and storage cupboard which houses the ironing board, iron, floor mop, broom, etc.
The smaller lodges, Heron’s Nest and River Birch have 3 steps to the veranda and door to lodge. Additional washing machine and tumble drier in the ‘utility area’ of the onsite barn.
Hot water, heating & WiFi is included. All the cabins have a good selection of books and games.
They are warm and cosy in the winter and cool in the summer and they all boast large verandas with outdoor furniture for sitting out in all seasons.
Larger lodges have car parking next to the ramps, space for two cars. Smaller cabins have the use of a small car park a few metres away with one dedicated space per lodge. Space for visitors’ cars in our private layby in the lane.
The holiday cabins provide an ideal holiday base from which to explore the ancient county of Wiltshire and are easily accessed from the M3 and M4. Furthermore, the airports of London Heathrow, Bristol, Southampton and Bournemouth are between one and one and a half hours drive away. The local village of Pewsey is less than two miles away and boasts a good supermarket, butcher, baker, petrol station, garage, Indian restaurant, cafes and pubs and it also has a railway station with a fast train service to London and the West Country.
