Summary

Willowbank Lodges nestle in a small hamlet in the heart of the Pewsey Vale bordering the Kennet and Avon canal. The five luxury log cabins have been solidly built from Russian redwood and are situated in three and a half acres, including a private lake and are surrounded by beautiful countryside and a wide variety of wildlife.

Accommodation

There are three, two-bedroom cabins and two, one-bedroom cabins which are:

Individually and tastefully furnished to a very high standard with large, comfortable beds, feather duvets, pure cotton bed linen, fluffy extra-large towels, spacious bathrooms, large, airy living rooms with squishy sofas and chairs and fully equipped, hand painted kitchens.
The one-bedroom cabins have 6ft or twin beds.
En suite bathroom has a large shower-bath, loo and basin with airing cupboard and storage cupboard.
The two-bedroom cabins have slightly larger king-size (5'4") beds in the master bedroom and 6ft or twin beds in the second bedroom.
Master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower bath and there is an additional large shower room next to the larger bedroom.
Bullrush's shower room is suitable for wheelchair users. Please enquire for more detail.
The kitchens have a full range of units, double oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, liquidizer, hand mixer, plenty of utensils and cooking equipment.
The living areas are spacious with rugs, lamps, pictures, bookcases, side and coffee tables and the larger cabins have kitchen dressers. They all have flat-screen Freesat TV's with DVD players.
The larger cabins have disabled access (ramps) leading into a utility room with a washer-drier, sink and large airing and storage cupboard which houses the ironing board, iron, floor mop, broom, etc.
Hot water and heating is included. Broadband should be installed by the end of May. All the cabins have a good selection of books and games.
They are warm and cosy in the winter and cool in the summer and they all boast large verandas with outdoor furniture for sitting out in all seasons.
Larger cabins have car parking next to the ramps, space for two cars. Smaller cabins have the use of a small car park a few metres away.

Visiting Milkhouse Water & Exploring Wiltshire

The holiday cabins provide a superb holiday base from which to explore the ancient county of Wiltshire and are easily accessed from the M3 and M4. Furthermore, the airports of London Heathrow, Bristol, Southampton and Bournemouth are between one and one and a half hours drive away. The local village of Pewsey is less than two miles away and boasts a good supermarket, butcher, baker, petrol station, garage, Indian restaurant, cafes and pubs and it also has a railway station with a fast train service to London and the West Country.
