Wir Peedie Hoose offers comfortable self catering accommodation in the historic centre of Kirkwall. We are in a peaceful location close to St Magnus Cathedral and The Earls and Bishops Palaces. Our house is perfect for a memorable break in a lovely part of Orkney.

Accommodation.

Our house offers lovely views towards the West and we strive to create a real home-from-home atmosphere. The property sleeps up to 2 people and is ideal for a relaxing getaway.

The ground level house has a cosy living area with comfy seating, a TV and DVD/CD player. A fully-equipped kitchen comes with a built-in oven, hob, microwave and fridge. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

Enjoy a restful night’s sleep on the king-size bed after a busy day exploring the island. There is a shower room and all bed linen and towels are provided.

Outside there is a patio area with a table and chairs perfect for savouring the Orkney sunsets.

Visiting Kirkwall & Exploring Orkney

We are in a fantastic position, within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, the leisure centre and harbour. You can visit famous attractions, including the magnificent St Magnus Cathedral and the Bishop’s and Earl’s Palace. The area also has lots of great eating establishments, including Italian, Indian and Chinese restaurants. Attractions to visit include:

Skara Brae Prehistoric Village.
Italian Chapel.
Maes Howe.
