Little Cleve is a grade II listed traditional seaside cottage close to Lyme’s centre and seafront, with the great benefit of a secret sun-trap garden. A raised deck gives sea views over Church Cliff and the churchyard in which lies the grave of Lyme’s famous fossil discoverer, Mary Anning. The churchyard path leads directly to the promenade, fossil and bathing beaches and The Cobb harbour. This is an ideal holiday let for families and fossil hunters.
About Little Cleve
The accommodation is tastefully furnished and decorated, and carefully maintained by the owners. It comprises:A small hall leading to a sitting room with some exposed stone walls and open fireplace; furnished with 2 sofas and an armchair, a Smart TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs, and a well-stocked bookcase.
A dining room with exposed stone wall and flagstone floor, and a table expandable to seat up to 8, leading to a well-equipped kitchen with modern ivory painted units, gas cooker, microwave, fridge with ample freezer compartment and washing machine.
There is also a downstairs WC with washbasin.
On the first floor is a large bedroom furnished with a double bed, two bedside cabinets, two chests of drawers and a wardrobe. The first floor landing also leads to a very spacious modern bathroom, a large bath with electric shower over, washbasin and WC.
The second floor boasts a large attic bedroom with exposed beams, 3 single beds, and a foldaway mattress if needed. There are bedside cabinets and two wardrobes plus a unit housing two spacious drawers with TV and DVD player on top.
The private, south-facing garden has a lawn, flower and shrub borders and, like the deck, is equipped with table and chairs for dining, There is also a barbecue and beach equipment for children along with chairs for lounging stored in the garden shed.

You will find games and jigsaw puzzles in the dining room alcove. A cot and highchair are also available at on request at no charge. Duvets on all beds; bed linen is provided in the rental and beds will be made up prior to your arrival. Also included is gas, central heating, electricity and fibre broadband as well as garage parking for one family-sized car.Local Area
