Summary

Tyn-y-Fron Cottage offers self-catering accommodation in the village of Betws-y-Coed, known as The Gateway to Snowdonia. We offer a peaceful setting at the base of mount Garmon, it's a 7-minute walk to the centre of Betws-y-Coed and is central for all of North Wales and Snowdonia.

Tyn Y Fron

Originally a coach house/stables, the house has been sympathetically converted and refurbished to offer high-quality accommodation. The cottage sleeps 4 people and is perfect for a family or group getaway.

After a busy day sightseeing, you can unwind in the lounge, offering original exposed beams with a high A-frame ceiling, stone fireplace, a comfortable lounge suite and a TV with digital channels, plus a small collection of books and board games for you to enjoy.

A fully fitted kitchen is great for home cooking and includes: a washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, electric hob and cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and dining table and chairs.

Two attractive bedrooms are available: 1 large double with room for a cot and a twin room. All beds are made up ready for you. Linen is not provided for cots. A bathroom comes with a large bath including an electric shower.

A decking area in the garden comes with a table and chairs for al fresco dining.

Tyn Y Fron Country House

We also offer accommodation in our country house. In total there are 6 beautiful en suite bedrooms available, including 1 bedroom next to a family bathroom. Bedrooms consist of 4 super kings, 1 king, 1 double and 1 twin room.

Cook up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances: fridge/freezer, microwave, cooking basics (pots and pans, oil, salt and pepper), dishes and silverware (bowls, chopsticks, plates, cup, etc), dishwasher, induction cooker, stainless steel oven, kettle, coffee maker, wine glasses, toaster, baking sheet and rice cooker.

You can relax and unwind in the cosy lounge and enjoy some delicious meals in the dining room. Outside there is a large front garden and a back garden shared with other guests. A private car park is also available.
