Beeches Farmhouse Cottages are three cosy country cottages, located within the grounds of the Beeches Farmhouse in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire. Our accommodation is just 7 miles from Bath, on the edge of The Cotswolds, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

About Beeches Farmhouse Cottages

Our three cottages have been converted from farm buildings and are surrounded by open pasture with free-range chickens and ducks. Each cottage has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished, ensuring that the furnishings are co-ordinated and the décor has a rustic, country feel.

Each of the three cottages has two bedrooms with each Cow Byre sleeping up to 5 and Pig Wig sleeping 4 or 5 with an extra bed. However, Cow Byre 1 & 2 can be interlinked sleeping up to ten. If further accommodation is required, we have up to five en suite B&B rooms on site that can be used without breakfast or a daily service if you are looking to accommodate larger groups up to 30.

Cow Byre 1 & 2

Both of these cottages have been carefully refurbished from original farm buildings and now provide comfortable and well-appointed accommodation for up to 5 people. Both cottages include:

Galleried double or twin bedroom upstairs.
Cow Byre 1 has a ground floor room with bunk beds & Cow Byre 2 has a ground floor double/twin room with an additional single bed.
Bathroom with WC, bath & shower.
Both cottages are dog friendly.

An interconnecting door allows guests to hire both cottages together, accommodation groups of up to 10 people.

Pig Wig Cottage

The detached and single-storey Pig Wig Cottage has a double or twin bedroom in one room with double or twin beds in the other bedroom with space for another bed sleeping two to five persons in all. Bathroom with toilet, bath and shower. With no stairs, the cottage is most suitable to young families and others who are ‘unsteady on their feet.’ As the rooms can have four or five single beds it is suitable for groups of friends. Pig Wig Cottage is not dog friendly.

Visiting Bradford-on-Avon & Exploring Wiltshire

There are plenty of outdoor activities near us, below are a few ideas:

Horse Riding – Riding and trekking centres nearby.
Cycling – Cycleways, canal towpath and planned cycle routes nearby. Bike hire nearby.
Boating – Kennet and Avon Canal runs through Bradford-on-Avon with the magnificent flight of 29 locks near Devizes. Nearby boat hire on the river.
Walking – for the keen walker, the first footpath runs from the border of our paddock.
Golf – Cumberwell Park 18 hole golf course, spread across 240 acres with 5 lakes, within 2 miles.
Hot Air Balloon Flights – Launch over the world-famous Bath Royal Crescent, enjoy an hour’s flight and returned to launch site.

Whether you want National Trust properties or adventure playgrounds there is something for everyone with plenty to do and see.
