The Accommodation
This modern blackhouse is situated on a small outcrop, perfectly positioned to capture spectacular views stretching 30 miles along the coastline of the island. Brighid caters exclusively to couples, ensuring a tranquil retreat.The home features advanced eco-friendly technologies for minimal environmental impact, including energy-efficient heat pump hot water and underfloor heating. A small wood-burning stove enhances comfort during chilly winter evenings.
Full-height south-facing windows flood the interior with natural light, offering seamless access to outside decking from both the bedroom and living area. The bathroom boasts full-height glazing with a freestanding bath, inviting guests to unwind while admiring breathtaking sunsets or the crashing waves.
Inside, Brighid's interior design draws inspiration from the island's Scandinavian heritage, blending modern minimalist furniture with nods to traditional materials.
A stay at Brighid includes amenities such as energy-efficient heating systems, digital wireless controlled heating, low-energy LED lighting and remote-controlled blinds for privacy and light control. Entertainment is provided by a large 55” HD TV in the living space. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of a Nespresso coffee machine with a selection of capsules. Additionally, deck chairs are available for outdoor relaxation, stored neatly in an external storage box for convenience.
