Upper Carloway offers fabulous self catering accommodation in Carloway on the Isle of Lewis. Our delightful croft house boasts breathtaking views from the patio doors onto the front balcony. We are ideal for an unforgettable holiday in a beautiful part of the Western Isles.

Accommodation

This charming cottage includes one double bedroom with shower/toilet and one twin bedroom, both bedrooms with TV and integrated DVD player. Full separate bathroom with bath. Open plan kitchen/living room area. New heating installed throughout for the cooler evenings, cosy living flame electric stove in the lounge.

ll bedding/towels etc provided. Entertainment facilities include Smart TV with Freeview, Unlimited Mobile Broadband and decent mobile phone signal, record player with a good variety of vinyl, books and DVDs. Tassimo coffee machine, microwave, hairdryer, slow cooker, washing line.

Visiting Carloway & Exploring the Western Isles

Our croft house is close to an array of historic sites, including the Callinish Standing Stones, Carloway Broch and Black House village which includes a licensed restaurant. Dalmore and Dal Bheag Beaches are two miles from the cottage and perfect for surfing. The Dun Braes Hotel is only 1 mile away and includes a public bar, lounge bar and restaurant. The area has lots of outstanding coastal walks, plus climbing Uig or Harris mountains are great for more strenuous hikes. Brilliant attractions to visit include:

Scalpay.
The Blackhouse.
An Lanntair.
Museum & Tasglann nan Eilean.
Bosta Beach.
