Glen Carragrich self catering cottage is situated 3 miles from Tarbert and commands wonderful views of East Loch Tarbert, the Island of Scotasay and distant Skye. It is a perfect place to relax and get away from the stresses of everyday life.

Accommodation

Though including many of the requirements of modern living much of the original furnishings have been retained giving a good blend of character and comfort. All the rooms enjoy the views mentioned above.

The cottage contains: Three double bedrooms. Sitting room with satellite TV. A large well-equipped dining kitchen. Bathroom with bath and electric shower (ground floor). A porch with board games and books. Bedding, linen and towels are provided.

Our self-catering house in Tarbert sleeps 4 and is situated in a quiet road off the main Tarbert - Stornoway road, only a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal and ideally situated for exploring the Hebrides. It has recently been renovated and contains:

On the ground floor - Double bedroom. Sitting room with TV & DVD player. A large well-equipped dining kitchen. Bathroom with shower. Upstairs - Twin bedroom with wash hand basin. Bathroom.

Visiting Tarbet & Exploring The Isle of Harris

The village of Tarbert has a post office, bank hotels and a selection of shops. The town of Stornoway is only an hours’ drive away. The area has much to offer those who enjoy walking, fishing, golf, bird watching, wonderful scenery, photography and the opportunity to lie on breathtakingly beautiful sandy beaches.
